A migraine diary that takes under a minute

Log an attack one-handed, in the dark. Migraine Journal records the weather for you and turns months of entries into the four numbers your neurologist actually asks for.

Your entries sync through your own iCloud. Nobody else can read them.

The logging screen with a severity dial set to moderate. The home screen: today's severity, a week of check-ins, today's migraine risk, and a month calendar of migraine days. The insights screen with attack counts and a severity chart.

What it does

Four things, done properly

Everything below is in the free version except the pressure forecast and the deeper correlations.

Logging

Finishable during an attack

A dial for severity, a tap for where it hurts, and you’re done. Symptoms, triggers, sleep, stress and medication are all there when you want them, and all optional when you don’t. Log now, add detail tomorrow.

The severity screen: a dial set to 5, moderate, with a scale from mild to debilitating.

Weather

Pressure recorded for you

The barometric-pressure change over the preceding 24 hours is captured the moment you log, because it’s the one variable nobody can reconstruct afterwards. You also get a plain forecast of the days ahead.

Today’s migraine risk shown as low, with a seven-day list of pressure changes in millibars.

Patterns

Correlations, once there’s enough to say

How severity shifts on days with each trigger, and how your attacks line up against falling pressure. Nothing appears until there are enough entries to mean anything, and it’s described as a pattern in your data rather than a cause.

Trigger correlations listing hormonal cycle, poor sleep, caffeine and stress with percentage changes.

Appointments

A report built for the ten minutes you get

Attack counts, average severity, severity over time, and a clean PDF of your last 30 days. MIDAS and HIT-6 are built in, so you arrive with a disability score rather than an impression.

The insights screen showing attacks this month, a doctor-ready report row, a disability score row, and a severity chart.

Privacy

Your data stays yours

Entries sync through your own private iCloud, not a server I control. I can’t read them, which also means I can’t sell them or lose them. Analytics are anonymous product-usage signals only and never carry health data. Everything exports as JSON whenever you want it.
